GRADUATION LANE FAQ

A few things grads & families usually ask.

If your situation is unique — homeschool, non-traditional program, adult learner, etc. — we’re very into that. Mention it in your message.

When should we book a graduation project?

Ideally 2–4 months before your ceremony or grad season, especially for weekend dates. That said, we keep some flex room for last-minute wins and weekday sessions.

Is this just for high school and college?

Not at all. We love trade & career programs, certification programs, adult learners, and non-traditional routes just as much as high school and four-year colleges.

Can we combine a senior story with ceremony coverage?

Yes. Many grads pair a Senior Story session earlier in the year with a shorter Grad Day Documentary build around the ceremony and celebrations.

How do schools or programs usually use these films?

Think: recruitment, fundraising events, social media, and internal celebrations. We deliver versions that are safe for web, presentations, and long-term archiving.

What if we’re shy on camera?

Same. We keep direction light and use prompts that feel more like a conversation. A lot of the story is built from b-roll and voice, so you never have to “perform” if you don’t want to.
