SESSION PATHS

Choose how you want this season held.

Some families want everything from the last quiet weeks to the first month at home. Others just want a single, gentle session. We’ll shape things around energy, schedules, and nap windows.

Not sure what you’ll be up for yet? Totally normal. Pick the closest lane, tell us what you’re thinking, and we’ll build something that can flex.

TWO-CHAPTER LANE

Bump to Baby Story

Maternity session · Newborn session · One story

Most Chosen

One film (and optional photo set) that bridges the waiting and the arrival: your world before and after this person shows up.

  • • 1 maternity session (around 28–36 weeks)
  • • 1 newborn session (in the first 2–8 weeks)
  • • 3–5 minute combined story film
  • • Mini reels for sharing with family & friends
  • • Optional photo gallery add-on for both sessions
Great gift from grandparents or partners.

EXPECTING LANE

Maternity Session

Just you · Partners · Siblings

Soft & Simple

A gentle session focused on connection — not posing marathons — in-home, outdoors, or somewhere that already matters to you.

  • • 60–90 minute session
  • • Photo-forward or film-forward options
  • • 20–40 final photos and/or 1–2 minute film
  • • Wardrobe & location guidance included
Best around 28–36 weeks, but flexible.

NEWBORN LANE

Newborn & First Weeks

In-home · Low-stress · Real life

Flexible Timing

We come to you, work around naps and feeds, and focus on the interactions you’re already having — no strict posing or timelines.

  • • 2–3 hour in-home window with built-in breaks
  • • Baby-safe, minimal-footprint lighting (or all-natural light)
  • • Option to include grandparents & siblings
  • • Photo gallery and/or 2–4 minute mini-doc
Ideal in the first 2–8 weeks — but we love older babies too.

MATERNITY & NEWBORN STORIES

A sense of how the quiet moments feel on screen.

These are example layouts. Your story will be built around your home, your light, and the way your people interact when no one is really “performing.”

MATERNITY & NEWBORN FAQ

A few things parents usually ask.

We’ve built this lane to work with real life — feedings, naps, reschedules, and the fact that sometimes everyone is just tired.

When is the best time for maternity photos or film?

Most people feel best booked between 28–36 weeks — enough bump to see, but usually before things feel too uncomfortable. That said, we’re happy to work earlier or later if it fits your body and story.

How early is “newborn” for your sessions?

We typically work anywhere from the first few days up through about 8 weeks. Early sessions feel extra sleepy and tiny; later sessions have more eye contact and personality. Both are beautiful in different ways.

What if the baby (or siblings) are fussy the whole time?

That’s still the story. We build time for breaks, feeds, and meltdowns into every newborn window, and we capture the way you comfort and connect — not just the quiet in-between moments.

Do you bring props or do we need to prep our home?

We keep things simple and baby-safe — mostly blankets, wraps, and whatever already feels like home to you. You don’t need a perfect house; we focus on small pockets of good light and connection.

Can we include grandparents, pets, or chosen family?

Absolutely. Just mention who’s important to the story in your inquiry so we can plan timing and space around everyone who should be included.
